A small collection of writings and personal papers of an Oregon historian. Includes typescripts of articles "How Burt Brown Barker gained access to the Archives of the Hudson's Bay Company and secured the publication of five volumes of early Oregon history," 37 pages; "History of the Doernbecher Children's Hospital Guild," 47 pages; "Salem the first territorial capital of Oregon," 22 pages. Also includes letter from Herbert Hoover, 1959 August 28; and a printed article titled "Minthorn House : the boyhood home of Herbert Hoover ; Newberg, Oregon." contains "Skits, sketches, muses and meanderings," and autobiographical sketch.
